KHS America will launch the NUVO Zip-Kit in the United States on Aug. 3 through authorized KHS America music retailers. The fully acoustic drum set packs into a backpack-sized case for use in classrooms, apartments, dorm rooms, studios and other small spaces.
The NUVO Essential Kit includes an 8-inch snare, a 10-inch string-operated hi-hat, a kick drum with a 90-degree pedal, an adjustable stool, an integrated practice pad, a pair of 7A hickory drumsticks and a backpack carrying system. The instrument weighs 12.8 pounds and can be assembled in minutes.
The adjustable kit fits players from age 8 through adulthood. Optional components allow musicians to expand the configuration as their needs change.
